Gym Update!
I went to the gym for the first time in about 2 and a half weeks.
It. Kicked. My. Ass.
I couldn’t even finish my routine. I was sore before I left the gym. I barely got back to my usual starting weights. Ugh.
Still felt good though. Gotta get there more often.

A Vacation in the Isles of Not Me
Let’s say I got a test run of the next 5 years of my life: a consequence free pass for a half decade to make whatever choices I wanted with the guarantee that, at the end, I could exchange those 5 years to go back to the decision point and continue my original life.
I’d probably buy an acoustic guitar, get a bunch of tattoos, and grow a beard.
John Kasich Caught Telling Truth →
Republican nominee for Ohio Governor John Kasich told a story during the debate that sounded like typical political tripe. He was in a Bob Evans restaurant and saw a couple working out their family budget, and stopped to talk about it. A liberal blogger called out the story as bullshit.
Turns out CNN was actually filming John Kasich that day.
Fall
Fall is my favorite season.
It’s the temperature. The days are cool, the nights a little cooler. Guys can wear sweatshirts everywhere. Girls can look adorable with their windblown hair and chilled pink faces. The leaves change and the night extends. The forced intensity of summer fun frosts over. Fall is the season that likes you just the way you are.
I don’t terribly miss...

I think I’ve posted this before, but the greatest/worst moment of L&O:SVU ever deserves to be watched again and again. This is when the show went from ridiculous to a parody of itself.
I really think we should replace the phrase “jump the shark” with “monkey in a basketball.”
Considering this is a police division that specializes in sex crimes, I’m really, really...
A Review of Meghan McCain’s Dirty, Sexy Politics →
“It is impossible to read Dirty, Sexy Politics and come away with the impression that you have read anything other than the completely unedited ramblings of an idiot.”
Meghan McCain has always been insufferable, so reading such a detailed hit piece is a pleasure.

“I feel wonderful, brother,” Victorino said. “We’re playing baseball. How do you feel?”
Most other teams, the Mets included, are probably weary these days. The Phillies, as usual, are just getting started.

This shit is funny and appeals to word snobs.
This is hilarious and I am a nerd.
Confession
I love using run on sentences to describe music because I think it communicates the unity of the listening experience better than a more grammatically palatable critique.
Want to see a woman slingshot a watermelon into her own face?

This Awesome Weekend
Friday: Went out with Steve. We got pretty silly. I had some instantly classic drunk tweets. A good start to the weekend.
Saturday: Leisurely start to the day. Saw a friend, then grabbed a train back to Pennsylvania. Listened to really chill music while pulling into the station. Got a spicy chicken sandwich at Chick-Fil-A. Went to Phillies game with my parents and ate a ton of wonderful...
I hope our mutual followers have enjoyed today’s episode of Benzado and Joe argue about stuff that is completely irrelevant to real life.
Join us next week where we’ll argue about the ( the NFL’s proposed 18 game season / Facebook Privacy / God ). Should be a good one!

I agree with the title, at least.
Krugman would look at a person too fat to walk and proclaim we need to feed them more so they have the strength to stand up.
That’s a really dumb way to criticize somebody’s ideas, Joe, and it’s why I can’t take your opinions seriously.
Ouch man! It was an attempt at a quip. :)

The Thing About Glenn Beck

If you think of Glenn Beck as the enemy, Glenn Beck has won.
Glenn Beck is the The Game.
Also, you just lost.
